Robert Palmer’s Last Song Recorded by Samwell
By Whipple • Feb 20th, 2007 • Category: MusicRobert Palmer is without a doubt one of the most influential musicians of the 80’s. With hits such as “Simply Irresistible” and “Addicted to Love” he will never be forgotten. Palmer passed away back in 2003 with a heart attack that surprised most of the world. We thought that we were done with Palmer’s music - that we would never hear his brilliance again. Today we have been proven wrong. Music sensation, Samwell, has uncovered Palmer’s last writted song “What What” and it is now on it’s way to being one of the biggest songs of the decade. Here is the video:
Palmer’s lyrics may surprise you, however, he realized that he had a large influence on the gay community, and wanted to give back to them what they had given to him. “What What” is a message from beyond the grave, letting everyone know just how giving, and open minded Palmer really was. He will truly be missed. Thank you Samwell, you gave us Robert..even if just for a moment.
(On a personal note: Shamus asked me to give an update on Robert Palmer, and I was happy to oblige. For those of you who are just dying to see it - click here - for the video to “Simply Irresistible”. Never forget…nobody rocks as hard as Robert Palmer!)
